yeayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy both bins have been emptied :D:j:j we have missed the last 2 weeks due to the weather but they are here now and emptying all that are ready for collection. Pity that green waste will go in landfill but at least id the weather changes again I have 2 bins to go at.

Might be worth checking if your local council do free compost bins if you have room for them. Birmingham City Council put flyers round saying as it was time for them to stop green waste collections till next year, did anyone want a compost bin??

Hope all are well. Am preparing for a second night of curry with [STRIKE]fiends[/STRIKE] friends (yeah, after all, it is Christmas, you have to take wthe wheat with the chaff:snow_grin) so may need to dash fairly soon.

Hugs on your Dad Helen Jelly - hope he gets fixed PDQ

Was surprisingly busy on my last day at work but I'm glad I've now left. The atmosphere is bad in there at the moment what with the restructuring and redundancies. They were very sweet though, they bought me a card and flowers and wine.

Four days off now before I start the new one on Monday. Except tomorrow avo is taken up with the hospital - DD is having some wisdom teeth out (she had two out a while back, the other two also need removing and it's a hospital rather than a dentist room job)

So tonight I'm just going to chill. Stuffed marrow for dinner whilst watching the second installment of the last ever Frost on ITV

Microwave - some of us never learn :o I find putting a bowl of boiling water in for a few minutes to steam the forgotten yuk off then rubbing everything down helps. Non scratch scourer occasionally needed on mine. Never heard of the slice of lemon bit...

    Leaves a pleasant odour!

Evening. Hope you're all ok. Big hugs jassa - hope you get the flood sorted quickly xx
    Hope everyone else is well.

DS is still off school but he was given antibiotics this morning so, fingers crossed, he'll be on the mend soon. I'm plodding along. Very little flying done but I've caught up with the washing today. I'm just about to do a hot spot shelf and that's it for me today.

    Hugs to all xx

Since last time was here, haven't done much flying as the trip to the dentist took ages.

But the pots have been washed, more rubbish shot out, one load of washing dried and another one in.

Also the trike has been collected so have masses of space in the bathroom now:D.

The collector didn't expect the kind of trike we gave her, she couldn't believe we were giving it away and NOT selling it. I'm just glad it went to a good home!

Dinners on, so think i'm going to hoover the stairs and wash the trail of mud off the floor. Blooming men and boys arghhhhh
