  • I'm in as usual and many thanks to FCC

    I'm around a bit more this week and have a stack of things to do eg write cards, wrap presents, sort out final food list and start planning final food making days and attempt some mince pies alongside working FT, studying and commuting and flying. Determined to free up some time next weekend to drop off cards and visit

    Had our family Christmas, and very nice it was too! Home early enough to finish off a bit of school work, and then watch X Factor.

    1. Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..
    2. Post all the cards you need to post
    3. Wrap all the presents for family/friends

    Here's my list:
    Clean out chooks
    Make cheesecake early pm
    Ironing
    Spend time doing online CBT
    Filing
    A bit of dot to dotting!
    Vacuum right through (again)
    1.45 - me and DS to DD's school christmas performance
    7.00 - all of us to DD's Scout Group Christmas carols
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting

    Thanks to the ladies for the thread. I'm not around much this week as doing school things every afternoon [Panto, school xmas parties, nativity play etc] so will try to get level 1 done in the mornings but will struggle tomorrow as taking Mum for an eye app at the Hospital.

    Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
    Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing
    Level Two
    Wash windows
    Clean curtains/blinds etc
    Declutter floors
    Level Three
    Wash bathmats/shower curtain and furry bog hats

    Extras
    1. Post all the cards you need to post
    2. Wrap all the presents for family/friends
    3. Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!!

    the study is my RoD.. :eek: I think a few 15 minute dot-to-dotting sessions will have to do, to start with at least (seeing as I can barely get in the door :( )

    Had a fab birthday - thanks everyone again. Feeling ever so slightly fragile :o but then it was a milestone birthday :beer:

    Thanks to FCC for the lists. Sending spoons and hugs to LL, Diva, toots and LW.

    ETA: valli IMO re-heating rice is not a great idea. Poorly cooked rice can sometimes harbour a bacterium called B.cereus (honestly!) which can cause rather nasty food poisoning. Subsequent re-heating does not inactivate it, so it's better to cook fresh each time.
