easyjet name error. Mr instead of Miss. Does it matter?

Have just booked Easyjet flights for group of 4 adults and 4 children. Only noticed once booking confirmed that one of the girls is down as MR Lucy Smith. Will it matter?
I know you have to pay to change names if their names do not match their passports etc, but as they do not have MR/MRS/MISS in passports, does this count too?
`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.

  • Yes it will make a difference - this has happened to by boyfriend before (although with a different airline) and was refused at the airport.

Best bet it to call Easyjet and ask - but personally I would not risk it.

Give them a call - I did the same last year and they changed it without charge (think they do most minor changes for free within 24 hours of the original booking).
  • I just rang Easyjet and they kindly changed the MR to a MISS. No charge.
    Thanks for the advice :)

Did it early on this year with Jet2 ,phoned them up and they said no problem at all ,didnt even change it to Mrs
    Have a nice day :)
  • There is no title indicated in a UK passport for them to check it against, so nothing to worry about. But as others have said, if you feel uncomfortable, give the airline a call and they will change it for free.

I really don't know why airlines bother with titles anyway. I can never put my correct title in (Dr.) because they never give me the option.
