    They are not a charity, they are out to get your car off you for as little as possible.

    Make sure you describe the car very accurately to them as this will give them less scope for them to negotiate on the price.

    They use people very skilled at chipping away at the price so be aware of that.

    Also, if you've, for example a low miles TD Focus, then they will probably offer you something half reasonable, however if you've a 3.0 v6 Avantime Renault that you cant sell, then they are going to offer peanuts for it.

    They must buy a few dogs 'cause you often see them appear in auction listings - stuff that looks like it'd fly off a forecourt (like said aforementioned TD Focus)

    Just wondering if you happen to live not too far away from one of their collecting centres why not just drive in and let them have a look at the car. Saves any misunderstanding from the description you leave on the web site.

  • Hey Guys,

    I work at webuyanycar.com as their social media manager. Wanted to try and offer a bit of advice. Firstly we are no longer part of The UK Car Group or CarCraft; we are now a separate legal entity.

    We’ve been trading for over 4 years with a network of over 100 nationwide branches. We will pay the money directly into your bank account by BACS transfer which takes 3-4 working days but we also offer a next working day payment service which is an optional service costing £24.75. Oh and our admin fee only applies to valuations over £100.

    What we offer is a service for people who want a fast, safe and easy way of selling their car but if achieving the maximum possible value for your car is the most important thing, you could try to sell privately. We try to offer accurate online valuations, so please be as accurate as you can online.

    Moaning myrtle - Good feedback on the inspection. We do this now. The buyer will ask you to follow them around your car, while going through the assessment sheet together.

    Mikex – you can just turn up. Bring all the things you need with you (see FAQ’s for details). It’s best to ring ahead to make sure the branch isn’t fully booked so that you aren’t waiting.

    If you’ve got any question just let me know or check out our site FAQ’s J

    Phew sorry for the massive long post!

    Katie

    But isn't the separate legal entity owned by CarCraft? :rotfl:

    Indeed, and another company Rep that hasn't read the site rules.;
  • Incredibly annoying adverts!! I have to change the channel on the radio or tv when they come on! :wall:
  • Idly I checked the price on my elderly car, which I since sold - but not to them. I still get lots of WBAC emails reminding me about selling it. I click on the link to unsubscribe. No site appears. Check their details on Google, very few of their sites actually work except the main one. (i.e. branch sites are listed with links, links don't work) So, they are now blocked by me as spam. Serves me right for being drawn in. Live and learn.......
