argh .. i think i've killed my iphone ..

i wanted to unlock it myself and I did. ran through the whole procedure and inserted my orange sim and it worked. downloaded a free app. worked fine.

fired up itunes to start adding stuff and thought i'd restore it - i checked that unlocked phones could be restored ok.

it failed to restore with a 1015 error and went in to recovery mode to try again. failed to restore again with the same error.

and now it's just sitting on the screen with the blue itunes symbol and the USB plug pointing at it.

i now realise - obviously - that the restore was THE wrong thing to do, but i'm absolutely doing my utter nut here that i've killed it .. any advice/ideas please ?
