2011 I want to shift a load of weight (planning on doing the Ration Book diet!), killing that CC and getting some savings! So it sounds as though we are both up for good changes in the next 12 months

I think you are right Taxi (you in particular will be glad to do the waving goodbye thing to 2010 I reckon!)
Amazing how many of us want to lose weight as well, do you think it is symptomatic? Basically life in general spiralling out of control?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Weight does get put to to the bottom of the pile with all the stresses and illness/medication etc have added another couple of stone to my frame but all will change in 20110

fab to see you taxi! Weight should be the last thing on your mind! Getting better no1 priority me thinks

hypno as for doing 2 marathons...quite mad but good on ya! Im thinking of starting some kind of dancing and swimming as excercise needs to be "diverted" = ie not realise that Im actually excercising IYKWIM!! as am a natural couch potato!
Mixed day in work but am generally enjoying it - Im now working with 15-25 year olds - some who are leaving the care system, others that are vulnerable and homeless which is very hard when theyre so young...really its about helping them achieve their potential and being there for them when things go wrong. Very different from what I did but much more hands on and therefore feels so much more rewarding. New team I woudl decribe as "beautiffuly bonkers!" bunch of people who work well and support each other. Were having our team lunch tom - secret santa swaps and Ive done a quick quiz which I hope will be fun!
Anyway off to wrap a few more pressies. Mum is away for the week but is now living with me full time. She is trying to sell her flat in the new year and we'll see whats what from there - a few ideas but need to investigate! One being a particularly cunning plan but we'll have to wait and see if its more cunning than Mr Fox himself! hugs all!
PS dragon what is that there ration diet you speak of?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
It is a diet based on the rations of the 2nd World War (basically when the country was at its healthiest!) http://rationbookdiet.com/ Dr Dragon is also planning on doing it as he could do with shifting a couple of stone as well
