Hi

A couple of years ago we had a digital ariel fitted and had a digi box on our main tv and it worked pretty well. (We now have virgin on that tv. )

Upstairs we have a digi box which cost around about £20 ish maybe £29 but its rubbish, it freezes all the time or just won't even work.

Would a more expensive digibox work better? or could it be that our ariel has broken or worn out?
thanks
in advance

If the downstairs works properly, not pretty well, then you should be able to get a good feed up stairs by directing the full aerial feed there.
If the installation was done correctly the aerial will be fine after two years, get an independent to do the works, hours labour and a few meters of cable. <£80.00

Different box will make no, or very marginal, difference.
