So, i'm looking for the best (read cheap) 2mb (upto 8mb max) broadband connection.
I really don't need a home phone with my zillion free minutes on my mobile. But i realise that i'm not really gonna have a choice on this.
There are sooo many deals out there with varying rates of discount, meaning trying to work out the yearly cost is driving me mad.

Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.
Decided to give up, and haven't had a fag for 12 years.
Halfway through losing six stone.
Looking forward to early retirement.

Your probably on Rickmansworth, so your LLU options are, 02, Sky and Talk Talk
These will probably be the cheapest. Have you an 02 mobile or Sky TV subscription?
Of course you will have to have a phone line installed. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Cheapest BB I can find at the moment (having to move from UKOnline) is Plusnet (from £6-49 per month) but if you are on LLU I'd go with one of those providers rather than be stuck with a BT reseller. O2 will provide a cheap alternative if they're also your mobile provider.
Have a look on http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/threads.php for loads of good info.0 -

You have to use Telstra home phone plan, if you do not often make calls using their fixed line connections then subscribe to Homeline Budget.
