We can guess Drew but as I'm sure you're aware we cannot possibly comment :)

  • Thanks All. I have had a reply from LF to say they think the only explaination is identity theft. They did mention this MSE thread so they have obviously seen it and allowed it :-) I have now spoken to one of the Directors at LF. He did seem like a professional, decent guy who understood my concerns and reassured me that a credit search had not been run and that they were doing a thorough investigation. So a good experience with LF from me, I cannot obviously comment on Henry's experience but thought it fair to voice my own opinion.

Thank again for everyone who replied, where would I be without you lot? :-)

glad to hear that you seem to be making progress!

you can never underestimate the value of politeness and co-operation in my opinion!
  • Glad to hear everything is being sorted out for you Sarah.

100% agree Drew. I get just as frustrated as the next person but I always find an approach such as Sarah’s will always have a better result than going in heavy. Especially as there is normally a very straightforward explanation for this type of incident.
New Years resolutions...don't get my signature removed and set up an A-Team style MSE crack survival team. P.S Apparently mrb1 and David 32 hate me. This makes me sad :(
  • Don't say his name, you'll get the thread pulled!!!!!! Remember, it's the legal action he's taking that gets threads pulled. He cant make accusations about things he cant prove. Once his court date has been and gone we can all find out exactly what went wrong.

Also, just want to apologies to a certain someone (not Henry) who's posts I may have commented on. Whilst I agree with the message I was trying to get across to you, I could have done it in a better way. If you took offence, I am sorry.

Wow, sense in a Loanfinder thread is rare.

I'm afraid I can't find it within me to apologise for anything.

I respect Henry and although I may not agree with his methods, his message was clear, consistant and frequently misspelted .

But this isn't my playground and so I must obey the rules.

all of which has nothing to do with the OP's question and for that I apologise.

Bet you wondered what the hell you've walked in to ?

    well done on,hopefully getting a result :)
