Babycakes

I am looking for a really cheap big text deal for my son. I am not bothered about voice or data.

Can anyone suggest one for about a fiver a month.

Unlimited an advert speak is not unlimited in contract terms there will be a fair use limit

Think carefully before you sign up to a contract.

But they're PAYG, not contract ergo nothing to sign.

Giffgaff has no fair use policy for the free texts(or internet) with goodybags.

Indeed they don't, my son uses GiffGaff on his Orange SanFrancisco mobile. That's not to say that they won't introduce one if people really take the Michael with the no limit policy.

Orange also have the same £5 for unlimited texts on PAYG

for unlimited texts for £5, just text 'TEXTS 5' to 6620

You can get a cheap handset with £10 credit for less than £10 with cashback websites (so slighter better than a free SIM card)

GiffGaff's model is not sustainable over the long-term, so I'd expect that to happen sooner rather than later.
