I did a ebay search for you too and there aren't that many silver wings on their bar one that already has a dent on it lol.

You could however buy a different colour wing and get it sprayed. You'll get a perfect match and a wing to be sprayed roughly costs around £50-70. It could be dropped off by you or your oh. They'll spray it. You pick it up and get the oh to fit it.

Fitting a wing is simple and can be done by anyone that can use a spanner in reality

All you men presume I won't want to be fitting it myself ;)

Yes, I could get it sprayed, would they need a colour code from me? There is a local 'spray shop' that I know of so I can get a quote from them, good idea :)

Oh, also.. it's a 2.0Litre GTi, so will any 206 panel fit it?

Sorry didn't realise you was "so hands on" :p

The paint code is usually on the drivers door pillar on a sticker. If not it'll be under the bonnet on a metal plate/sticker

If the paint shop are any good then drop in and grab a quote

lol - well now you know ;) I'll be back on here moaning that I'm stuck when I try it haha..

I'll pop by in the week, off snowboarding in a weeks time, so can't really do anything until I get back. At least it's driveable, grateful for that! :D

    I'm not 100% sure

I've just got rid of my Renault Sport 197 clio and the wings were totally different to standard clios.

Pug may be the same as i presume your pug has a wider body kit

    Have fun.

Also don't park it facing in the opposite direction as you may find you need a N/S wing too lol !!

Good luck getting it sorted and let us know how you get on

I think it's the same, but it's hard to tell, wheel arches might be more pronounced on the GTi.. I guess I can afford to wait until one comes up for sale, no major rush.. apart from my car looks like a heap now lol.

    Your Clio sounds nice :)

My neighbour told me the house next to them is empty, reposessed apparently, so my car is nicely parked on a driveway outside a gorgeous 4 bedroom detatched house lol. :p

It was. I've handed it back to the finance company. Couldn't afford it no more :(

Loved it i did. Was absolutely rapid. My flat mate was shocked when he couldn't out pace me in his Scooby WRX STI

Tell you what as it's christmas, i'll keep an eye on ebay for you for a GTI wing (to be certain) and send you a P.M with the link if something comes up. Can't guarantee it'll be available by the time you get back though or if anything does pop up. I know a mechanic as he does all my work and he has part ownership of a body shop. I'll ask him too
