How has a bidder retracted their bid??!!

I actually had to retract a bid recently, not because i entered the wrong amount but actually i misread the item description. Was a bit tired at the time. So maybe that was the reason.0

i appreciate that it's an honest mistake but but that is not allowed demonblade!0

I had someone retract a bid and their reason was that they'd put the wrong amount, and the amount they had put in was £2.00... so it's not like they made a huge mistake and put in £200, I think they just changed their mind and used that as an excuse. Wasn't really bothered as the item sold for more, but I don't think they actually put the wrong amount in.0

Could it be that the member was barred or suspended? Would that remove all their current bids?0
