    beanie you need to be careful if you're venturing out, hope you arent hurting too much
    sorry to hear about the fair claire, im struggling to get my sisters cards to sell at the moment so i kinda feel your pain

    and now for a raaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh at the moron who lives next door to me who just came knocking on my door and was so rude saying my mums car was on his drive (which it wasnt) and could it be moved, no please, thankyou or anything!!!! makes me so mad, theres just no words for some people!!!!!!

  • evening all.. just joining in with this thread . we are really struggling this christmas and determined not to hit cc but to only spend what we can afford,managed to do this so far:j
    been christmas shopping today for my son and was so glad to get home,seems the shops this time of year are designed to make you fel rubbish for being skint,obviously all designed to make us spend spend spend.
    getting some paperwork together to do a full budget ready for january.this time next year we will be debt free and have savings...for definate!
    sealed pot challenge member 1063..pot emptied to go toward credit card.new pot started 27/3.;)

    march grocery spend £480:eek:

    hey trying to swim :)

    best way to combat christmas is just do what you can afford & enjoy the day with family.

    i try and budget like £100 for pressies and £50 for food or something, maximum, if any other family want to join in feel free.

    only have credit card for holiday earlier this year, never had one before and certainly wont get one again - just to pay it off :) 0% runs out march i think

    well, we have MIL +1 coming to stray, havin food at my dads - cooking for 5, maybe 6

    I've just got a ring binder and started sorting everything out for my dissertation - I got a set of dividers and have labelled a section for each chapter and started putting all the notes from the lectures into the right section. I think this bit is the best bit - somehow this is quite good fun - it all goes downhill when I have to start doing it! :D

    I'm really looking forward to putting the desk together tomorrow and having a home for all my studying bits. Hopefully this will keep me motivated by bringing me some structure.
