  • I was an 'affiliate' too and had a little money in the e-wallet when it all went 'belly-up' (about £30-odd or so; my Mum had a little too.)
Do you think there's any chance of seeing that? They did say that they would pay up and were dealing with it!
  • I have received all the money owed to me so I don't think that they could have been bankrupt.

I have never had any problems in dealing with this company. In fact their customer support team were first class - which is more than you can say for some of the large corporations in the UK.
  • I am/was a member of vwd e-lottery and have aapproximatey £80 in my e -wallet account which they have promised to refund initially by cheque , but there was a problem with this, and they have today agreed to refund it by direct credit to my bank account. It should be in by next Friday and I will advise whether or not this has happened at that time.
I also asked them by 'phone whether they are involved with Big Fat Lotteries and they have confirmed that their holding company, uvme, is also running BFL as a separate company ( which I have also just signed up to).
Up to present I have always had good service from them and do not expect otherwise in future. I will however keep you informed of future progress.
  • Further to my posting on 29th Jan 2011, I later that day received an e-mail confirming they were doing a direct credt to my bank account For £80-70p and it could take up to 5 working days to arrive.
To their credit (no pun intended) it arrived in my account , cleared,on 1st Feb.
As far as I am concerned they have been 100% ethical about this and I now look forward to my Big Fat Lottery membership.
  • GeordieAlan , Glad you got your money back. I too am waiting for my e-wallet money to be returned from VWD. You said you spoke to them on the phone, what number did you contact them on as I'm finding little information about the defunct VWD. Thanks
  • Dear Draper29,
I posted a reply a day or 2 ago with the info you required and it appeared on the thread, but now has apparently disappeared? Did you get the info?? or has my posting been removed for some reason by the moderator?
    Regards
    Geordiealan

  • Hi GeordieAlan,

I think it must have been removed by the moderator. I didn't get the info before it dissapeared.
  • I also have not received any payment for money I had in my wallet, not totally sure what address they may have had for me. If anyone is able to PM me details of how they've contacted VWD it would be appreciated. Not sure I want to use Pigeon post to Panama!
  • I too would be grateful for any contact details for them, I didn't even know untill tonight they had gone, wouldn't have hurt them to send everyone an email to let people know what was going on.
