New House will only get 1.5mbps BB...how will i cope!

Options
Seriously though
1.5mb, i use xbox live a lot whilst partner is on tinternet, and we watch a lot of internet catchup tv, and download tv episodes of the net...

Is there ANY way to get it faster.

Vigin don't have cable in the area, so that's out, and anybody else is through the BT phone line only, and again 1.5mb only

You could start by finding out why . Is it external BT line or internal .
You can do something about internal but not BT line .

Well, i can't go any further as i can't do anything until i actually get in the house (assuming i actually get to buy it)

I was just hoping to get it all planned and know who i would pick for the best value.

I've been on Plusnet/BE/BT /SKY, and they all say 1.5mb

I guess there's not much i can do until i actually find out the phone number rather than the postcode!

It may turn out to be faster but if it doesn't then it will be truer to say "i used xbox live a lot whilst partner was on tinternet, and we watched a lot of internet catchup tv". You'd still be able to download the TV episodes though.

Wait a while for BT Infinity?
But personally I'd just buy a different house.

You'll only get the standard quality stream reliably with 1.5Mbps though. I find that unwatchable and would download the better quality one myself.
