Thanks for realising my wave length. After I posted this I thought it might draw out the cynical folk ready to trash anyone.
I know I have to pay my electric, I know it's going to be a lot given the weather, I was just amused (as was the meter reader) that the first day Glasgow got back to normal after 'the big freeze', but before the diesel, bread and milk were restocked, the meter reader came. It could have been anyone on any street but it was me and I commented on it.....0 -

You have to be careful with the Gas and Electricity threads. It's a very serious subject
and tensions run high. Some of the contributors like to get any retaliation in first, just in case, it turns nasty.
