School Ski Trips

  • it's certainly a good idea IMO, although my daughter has never intimated she wants to go( she would prefer it to be snowboarding). If she had we would certainly have tried to find the money for her to go as neither of us ski and it would be the perfect opportunity for her to learn. As to cost, if you enquire to how much it would cost to ski in Scotland and stay in a hotel i think you would find it's also quite expensive, and not such an experience for the children. Indoor slopes are okay but it's really not the same as skiing outside in a beautiful place, plus the cost of those is not a cheap trip out.

As far as teachers go I'm sure a 24+ hour on a coach with 20+ teenagers plus keeping them on the straight and narrow every evening etc is not an easy week, do you!!!
