Hello everyone - thanks to Claire21 I've bought lots of bargains from Debenhams but havent received any of my 'despatched' items yet because we are still buried under snow in Northumberland - and have found an email I'd missed to say that one of my items is being returned!!! I've never even had it or a card to say anyone tried to deliver!

I had been waiting for some items too and had heard nothing so i rang yesterday to be told that the items had been to despatched on the 2nd which I had a email to tell me but returned back to debenhams a couple of days later because of poor packaging but noone had bothered to let me know!! They where just going to refund my card, surely it would have been better to ahve let me know so i could have had the chance to reorder. Rubbish customer services and rubbish packaging!!!0 -

Debenhams say that if items are out of stock or if you use a code you aren't entitled to, or if there's a glitch. I've had it happen several times, each time I get a despatch email and a return email at about the same time. It's a shame they feel the need to lie about this, there's 100% no way they have as many "damaged" or "damaged packaging" issues as they claim. :mad:0 -
My 2 parcels were despatched on the 30th and on the Hermes tracking say recieved and processed at the depot on the 9th dec!!!!!! Rang Debenhams they say they can do nothing until the delivery is 10 working days late and to ring on tuesday.
My two parcels seem to have been mssing for 9 days between despatch and arrival at Hermes depot.................maybe they went on a skiing holiday:rotfl:0 -

My Hermes delivery from Debenhams was just left by the front door (no delivery note left!) yesterday despite me being at home. Not sure where you'd stand if it disappeared, wouldn't have thought abandoning it near someones property constitutes delivery. Not saying this has happened to anyone's missing parcels but just thought I'd mention it.0 -

I ordered a Dave (toy monkey) from Debenhams. It arrived in a plastic bag - the actual box is extremely battered and looks like it's been kicked round the floor a few times.
Was meant for a Christmas pressie but it really looks like I wrestled it out of someone's hands in the sales!
