Scissor Sisters Concert - Refund???

I bought tickets for the Scissor Sisters concert here in Glasgow for last night (08/12/10) but due to bad weather and advise from government, police etc not to travel as roads and rail are not fit to use, I didn't make it.
The concert was not cancelled, so I am wondering if there is a possiblity of getting a refund and if so how do I go about it?
Many thanks.

I would have thought it is unlikely as the concert company will not be held responsbile for the weather and disruptions caused by this in most cases.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

As mentioned there, if you paid for the tickets with a credit card such as Egg Money, it may be worth checking to see if the card cover includes event insurance.0 -
