Is this a good setting for a combi boiler?

Hello everyone,

As a true MSE follower, I am trying my best to keep warm but keep costs reasonable. I usually keep it on for 2 hours in the morning and about 6-8 hours each evening but this article says this is not economical. It instead advises;

"It is far better to run the heating constantly, but at a lower temperature. Put the timer on “24 hours”, turn the boiler thermostat down to “Min” or “1”, open all the thermostatic radiator valves fully, and set the room thermostat(s) to 20C. This not only helps prevent condensation, but will actually save you money on your heating bills, whatever the government propaganda says."

I have a combi boiler. Please advise. I trust MSE members more than I do the newspapers you see and this advice is in stark contrast to my "when necessary" approach to heating. Any advice welcome full article can be found here.
