            If you get 12 days for a two day week that means everyone else gets 30 days including bank holidays? ie 12/2 (days) x 5 days = 30 days, leaving them with 22 days left after booking all 8 bank holidays.
In this situation you book the bank holidays out of your entitlement. If you do not book them you should not be paid for them; but as you do not work this day then you cannot book them. Because you work on Thursdays and Fridays only, you have the advantage that you get more 'floating' holidays then anyone else.

            You only work 2 days a week, so I'm unsure how that works with bank holidays.
I work 37/5 hours a week, Mon - Fri and get 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays.
How does the company you work for handle every other bank holiday? Do you get TOIL, or nothing because you only work 2 days a week?0 - 
            but the bank holidays could just as easily have been Thursday and Friday? Seems very arbitrary to me. i get 12 days total leave including my allowance for bank holidays made up of 10 days (pro rata for the 5 weeks annual leave for full timers) and 2 days in lieu of bank holidays so obviously my employers recognises my entitlement to bank holidays even when they fall on a Monday
Statutory min is 5.6 weeks 28 days.
It looks like full time workers get 25+BH which is 33 days in a normal year.
The way it should work for you is you get 2/5 of what a full time worker gets.
This should be 13.2 days.
If BH falls on one of you work days and you don't work you use up a days holiday.
Now if they normaly give you the BH that falls on a friday (1 per normal year) then you are only .2 of day short on holidays.
So do you get good friday as well?
if you do then you are 0.2 short if not then 1.2 short.0 -

Ie 12/2 = 6 days per day worked each week.

I have re read the whole thread, and moreforless is right.
