Does that mean that my computer would act in a similar way to a bluetooth phone without using cables?If only I knew then what I know now

you can get a bluetooth dongle for about £20. You will then be able to transfer data/connect to any other bluetooth device e.g phone/printer/pocket pc etc etc0

yes
sony ericssons (from the k700i) allow you to use the joystick as a mouse pointer, so you can move the cursor around the desktop using the phone's joystick for example0 -
