need to make money of my own

Options
Hi all,

I know that there is probably a thread somewhere about this, but I cant find it lol.

I have just had a contract finish so am out of work again:( I am sick and tired of relying on other people and I am desperate to have something of my own. So basically my question is this, how do I go about setting up an ebay business? I already have 400+ transactions on my personal one already and have 100% feedback and I do have somethings I can sell which will declutter the house, mostly DD clothes some of which are like new still!

I am basically looking for some hints/tips and advice from all my fellow MSE'rs who are already experts at this sort of thing to give me a helping hand. If I am honest, I am getting quite desperate now. can anyone help me??

thanks
LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(

    Hi
I've done Ebay for 2 years now - still clearing out stuff from my house - but if you want to do it as a business you will need to change your Ebay account to a business one - or open up a new Ebay business account.
Depends what you want to sell - I'm, like you, thinking of actually making it a business - I think it's best to go with something you know (and can source) I've looked at loads of wholesale sites on the net for stuff to sell - it's just Chinese c**p mostly and they're selling it all on Ebay for pennies anyway - don't think there's any money to be made there!
We know someone who sells bonsai trees and tools - seems to be making around £1k a month, if you have a hobby or interest that you know a lot about - bikes, photography, computers, etc, etc, that may be the way to go. A niche, specialist market seems to be successful often.
Have a look at the Ebay thread on here - often good advice - especially from Soolin - but try not to let the horror stories depress you though!
    Good luck with it all!
