Can I haggle down my current contract? I'm one year in with Vodafone, extortionate!

I don't think it's that bad, I have a similar contract but more minutes and am paying £40/mo for my Samsung Galaxy S.
I noticed your phone is selling for £360 (new) on Amazon, why don't you sell it & buy what you want?0 -
On a similar note, I recently purchased a house and am 3 years into my mortgage. I am disappointed that the amount I have to repay over the term of the mortgage is so much. Do you think that if I phone up the bank and haggle with them very skillfully they will reduce my mortgage by say 25% because I have been a loyal customer? Many thanks.0

This is why I'm a sim-only customer - the difference between the sim-only and a monthly contract goes in a pot and when I need a new phone, I buy it with that money. I've only got to give 28 days notice and my bill never comes over the £15 basic line rental I pay orange (which is for 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of internet - which is plenty for me).0
