NSD no 10 for me :D

Paid cheque in this morning on my 4.5km walk. Went to Mike's early as I found out my little sis had an abnormal smear, went for the biopsy and they removed the majority of her visible cervix. She's in pain but seems to be doing OK, just worried about her which is understandable. She doesn't know if it has spread as she needs to wait for the biopsy results, but hopefully it won't be too bad....then there's me, always thinking of the worst case scenario so I've been upset and shocked but trying to hold it together

Shred day 8 as well and it is getting easier, will do it til Sunday, then Monday stage 2 starts

    Hi elfen
Just spotted your post on the NSD thread and came to find out what's wrong.

I'm really sorry to hear the news about your sister, keeping my fingers crossed it's been caught in good time and that will be it.

Sending you some ((((hugs)))) and thinking about you.

Thanks spoony. I think it's more shock now....It's set in a bit but I'm just worried I might lose her. I've been texting her and seeing that she's OK, might be seeing her Saturday if her and her gf are free. It's just the reactions of my other sister she's annoyed at

    Hi elfen
You're bound to be worried and shocked, that's a natural human reaction to something like this.

I think it would be a great idea to see her on Saturday if you can, it will put your mind at rest to some extent if you can see her soon.

Families (and particularly siblings) are usually tricky and people don't always react the same way to news, maybe your other sister needs a bit more time to come to terms with the news?

I'll pop in again tomorrow to see how you are.

    (((hugs)))

I don't think it's coming to terms with it, as she knew first. I think it's more instead of trying to be supportive she's still very anti-smear, whereas I get them regularly. It's also the fact that she then took it out on me by insulting me, making me feel worse.
