inclusive data and blackberry data ?

looking at an o2 contract and it says...
500MB data allowance, 500 mins, Unlimited texts

then offers a "data bundle" of 500MB BlackBerry Data and WiFi for an extra £5/month

this Blackberry stuff is new to me... do I need the extra data bundle to use Blackberry messenger, email etc. or is the inclusive data allowance the same thing ?

thanks

  • To use blackberry messenger, the blackberry push email and anything that requires the blackberry.net APN you need to have the blackberry data, but you'll still be able to use email, the internet etc. without the blackberry data allowance, but you might need to change some of the settings (change any APN that says blackberry.net to mobile.o2.co.uk).
