Are you sure it's not a fault with the power cable?

Can OP post the video on YouTube :).

Thanks again for comments, will wait and see when/if replacement arrives. Could probably put the video on YouTube but all it shows is the on button light and the WiFi light flashing all the time, a blank screen and me pressing the on switch with no result. So will bin it when the replacement arrives. Thanks to all who gave constructive comments.

I've read of cases on here where disputes have been re-opened by paypal in similar circumstances, where the seller has duped the buyer into closing them.
It usually took a phone call to paypal to do it.
How much did the printer cost. It wasn't £30 was it, I've never heard of a dispute costing anything before.

If someone sends something back to me that isn't actually faulty and is down to their incompetence, they can either pay a 20% restocking fee if they don't want it or return postage and it sits with me until they've paid it. There's no way in hell I am going to fork out my hard earned to refund them the cost of returning it just because they can't read a manual.

UPDATE The replacement printer has arrived and works perfectly. So reasonably happy except I am down the £14 it cost to return the original printer. But have just had a message from Ebay saying they have credited me with £5 following the resolution of my dispute!
Guess I will write off the rest as the printer was a good deal.

Good result then. It's good to hear there are honest people out there.
Do you still have the other printer you were asked to throw away?
If so the ink in it is worth more than the £9.
Seal it back into a plastic bag, unless you've already swopped it into the new one and left the new one sealed up.

Yes, I still have the other printer, came without ink though, may list it for spares as the seller told me to get rid of it.
