On our local news station East Anglia, it just had a report on about the prices of oil for central heating...
Apparently oil was 39 p ltr 2 weeks ago and as from today its hit an all time high of 69 p ltr.........
Thats a helluver hike, im on gas but I expect to hear in the very near future of a price rise again, they usually all follow one another when they hike up .......... this is only the start of winter, dont know how some people will keep warm and be able to afford fuel , like young children and disabled people...........

I have just taken delivery of my oil and it cost me £160 more than my previous lot.
I read the papers & watch TV and I never heard anything about these huge price rises until I rang for a quote.
Absolute rip-off.0 -

Yes they said that they decided to up the prices because 1.. supply and demand in the last few weeks......2.because of crude oil prices.????. in other words they know people want it at any price........
It wasnt in the papers it was people phoning the TV channel to complain about the prices when they phoned oil suppliers today to get their tanks topped up....thus finding out of the crippling price hikes........People are fuming over such a price rise......55 %rise is way too much ...0
