Spoke to Tiscali yesterday. The £19.99p offer including line rental mentioned in the op,will be launched in April. Firstly to existing customers.

Your exchange will have to have been LLU by Tiscali for you to get the offer.

I was with Tiscali for less than 2 months and it was a nightmare. During the evenings I could not access HTTPS secure websites.

I cancelled the service and they did not even attempt to hold me to the contract. I am prepared to pay for call charges but not the useless internet, so I asked them for a breakdown of charges. Weeks later I am still waiting.

I cancelled the direct debit and wrote to them confirming this. Their repsonse was to re-instate the direct debit three months after I left Tiscali! Luckily, I was 'on the ball' and cancelled the direct debit before they took any money!

I have used the Tiscalli package for a while now (inclusive calls except mobiles) and broadband. Service has been great - couldn't fault it.

The new package you mention sounds good. What does "LLU" mean?
