Like I said, I agree with some of the work they have done (my perplexing post) I just find some of the newer stuff unneeded that is all.

can you give a specific example?

it does not stand to reason at all. information can actually be preventative to something (bad) happening.

if i lived near a massive foreign/terrorist target i'd want to know about it.

So how did Jeremy Clarkson lose money out of his bank account, did it prevent him losing money.

How does letting people know they live near a possible target stop things happening.

We all live near one, all naming one does causes terror?????

So I am perplexed by your idea of terror, to me it is to live in fear. If you worked at a site has that not what the leak has possibly done?

You have said no one is likely to act on it so what was the point of the leak? to scare workers?

I think I already have, did I not say naming the top 100 strategic targets?

I don't personally hold to the same ethics as Wikileaks, but if people are going to accuse others of endangering lives, it should be quite easy to list the specific documents which do so. And to explain why the US did not take the opportunity given to them before publication to explain to wikileaks why these documents should not be published.

How can I explain why the US did not say anything, perhaps because they knew it was already to late now to say the information should be confidential?

But I am allowed to have a personal feeling on this arn't I, is that not kind of the point.

It's the responsibility of the governments to safeguard strategically sensitive information. Hopefully this will lead to tightened security. The documents appear to be more embarrasing than damaging (thus far).

    Terrorists?

The biggest threat we face is the liars and thieves running governments, banks and global corporationns.

They're the real terrorists and a far bigger threat to our lives and freedoms.

On the subject of thieves & liars, its nice to see Blair going back in front of some people that will make his face turn red.

i don't see how that makes the world less safe as more people knowing about them can actually be a better thing. a lot of information becomes less 'strategic' when it is in the public domain.
