i ordered from a store in gloucester last night (always have problems cos there staff never listen to me, the customer)..
Had a 50% voucher if spending over £40....
so ordered 2 large and chicken things, bill came to £20.25, lovely
ordered pizzas, very specific when i said double sauce, ie: 2 scoops with the sauce....
So as always, i watch them make my pizza, and watch the bloke put 1 scoop of sauce on, then do toppings then into oven....
i then tell the manager what i asked for, silly pr!ck could hardly speak english, tells me that i should have informed the staff member to put more sauce on ???
I was like, You want me to tell your staff how to do there jobs when its in front of them on a monitor saying DOUBLE sauce, Grrrrrrrr !! said i aint happy with the service, then i got £8 back

Sweeeeeeeet! Just how it should be, dont get what you ask for, you dont pay it,
its not the guys fault he hardly spoke english well maybe it is but the employer should make sure he understands it,0 -
Yes OP you did the right thing since you asked for something but didnt receive it but i would have called up the following day to make sure it had been recorded0

I would never complain too much when it comes to take away food, I would rather not use the place again. Who knows what happens to a 'complainers' food....0

When you make a complaint like this, the credit is stored by going into the order, and changing it.
So if you had ordered that night and order number was #132 for example, the CSR would have to go into Order #132, change it to give you credit.
The data is stored by phone numbers. So if you used your mobile for the bad order. Then phoned on home phone, there would be no record of this. When I worked there, if someone has said they complained and got told they would get free pizza next time, I would refuse unless it was displayed (I would however use common sense to ask if they may have used a different telephone number
)
When giving out free pizzas you need to have the manager code to force the system to change the price to £0.00 as a "Manager Coupon". When I worked there, only I and manager had the code.0 -
I think you were very brave in making a fuss and then still ordering and eating pizza afterwards, I do hope they didn't put too many extras in them.
I never ever complain in a restaurant until after the food, or if I have no intention of eating the food. Far safer that way.0 -
To be honest, if you ordered on a Friday/Saturday night, it would have to be a serious grudge to get a pubic pizza.0

I made sure to use the same phone as I guessed it would be stored by the number, it really does sound like they just didn't bother to record it.
As for the possible tainting of the food, I realised it would be a possibility before I even called, but the pizzas that came were lovely, no hair, and if they spat ont hem or anything like that, it was well disguised :rotfl: I thoroughly enjoyed mine :TPlease excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!0
