Exactly! That's why it is so disappointing. S & G have thousands of eager shoppers with the money burning a hole in our pockets, hungry to lay their hands on the stuff, and then the product is a bit of a let down. Feel cheated - I loved walking through town this time last year swinging a hat box from each hand. I want glam and sassy, to instinctively just want it, not to be weighing up whether or not it is VFM, and whether I can justify the cost (sorry, not very MSE I know!). I'm sure that if the price is right they will sell well, but I will be surprised if there is anything like the same buzz as last year. Watch this space .....

Could be a good 75% sale this year!! Must be tons of stuff kicking round in the warehouse.
Although I'm not sure I want alot of it even at that price!!

I kept thinking that I'd definintely get one or two of these but now I'm not so sure anymore
I love the S&G products but all I really use is Flake Away, Body Butter, Handcream and sometimes the shower gel.

I don't really like the body mist(sold all mine on ebay), lip gloss, shampoo, wipes or face scrub...still have the puff from last year so might just skip it this time as the bag really isn't very pretty

Im giving it a miss this year too. I think some of the stuff smells really chemically:o:o like the body mists.

exactly! I think it was all about the hype last year. Would or wouldn't we be able to get one...

I ended up with the one I bought myself and one my OH managed to snag in the 75% off sale online (a handful randomly came back into stock if anyone can remember) as someone else said the big puff isn't that great, I sold the lip glosses and body sprays on ebay, I'm still working my way through the body butters, the face scrubs were good but I've used better, the blue shower gels and body butters weren't anything to write home about, the only thing I really fell in love with was the daily smooth body butter, yes the hatbox it all came in is pretty but if I'd sat back and really thought about it rather than buying into the hype I really wouldn't have bothered.

I don't feel as hyped up this year, and the closer it gets the less excited I feel about it. £25 is a lot of cash for the few products I will use and the rest which will just sit there. I'm sure others will go mad for it but I'm not sure I'll be standing outside boots at 7.45am waiting for it to open like last year come friday

I remember last yr, I was in the hairdressers having highlights done, and the other hairdresser just come back from our boots on a retail park with 2 of the s& g box, and I dying to get one, as I was just sat waiting for the highlights to dry - the hairdresser said - if you can can get there and back within 40 mins, - go now...... theres me driving to boots with my hair in the foils..... I did get some looks, but it was worth it!! xx

I can top that, I had to have knee surgery and had to be at the hospital for 8am only Boots on the way was opening at 8am that day also. My husband and I had a row on the way because I wanted to be late so we could get my hat box on the way and he wouldn't. We waited on the ward for ages because my nurse was late only for her to turn up with a huge boots bag containing yes you've guessed it the S & G hatbox. Lucky for me she completely understood my fury and despatched hubby to get my hatbox citing it wasn't good for me to get upset before an operation. I was first on the list and when I woke up later in recovery, my surgeon asked me if I wanted to know if the operation had been a success or whether my husband had been successful in getting to Boots in time to buy my hatbox. LOL
