Store will be able to offer you an exchange of an item to the value of whatever price comes up when the it is scanned through the till. Bad news if it has gone down in price I guess, but good if it hasn't. I have had to exchange sooooo much stuff recently and preg-head here never knows what she's done with the receipt!!!!

Do you have a bank statement showing the transaction if done with card?

They will exchange them if they are obviously from Boots (i.e. No7, Boots own brand etc). If they were on 3for2 they'll prob only let you exchange them for something else within the 3for2 promotion.

If you have no joy, you could just give it anyway in all innocence and let the recipient change it if they want - or do they know that you know that they have it??? What is it, out of interest? Is it something you would only need one of IYKWIM?

Ok..im confused(easy done),why do you want to exchange it without the receipt,when you already have the receipt?

because she bought three items (on the 342) and if she tried to retun one item, even within the 342 promotion, they can be funny and might say they need all three items to be returned at the same time iuswim

I have had the tote bag confirmed by a Boots Store Manager today. I was not told the price though.

Eek! All out of stock at our Boots this morning, and my sister said there was loads yesterday. Lets hope there is no snow to affect deliveries through the week or there could be a lot of annoyed people out there!!!

From what iv noticed before with other OOTW's is that they go out of stock before they become OOTW so to make sure Boots have enough stock for the rush

About 60 years ago, these bags were standard, and a general shopping bag, except they were a plain colour. We used to have a black one, specially for buying the loose potatoes!

I think these S & G bags look really ugly, and if I received one, with the items just lying at the bottom, I'd think that some of the stock was missing!

Someone costed the contents recently - can anyone remember what they were worth please?
