  • I'd go for something by HTC but I think they're quite expensive on PAYG!

  • i would vouch for the wildfire probably the best touchscreen phone vs the price, if you want purely touchscreen... imo the technology is a bit flaky... still... i personally have a resistive screen pulse mini which i bought for £90 (£79.99 + £10 top up) from the tmobile shop and i am seriously disapointed in it, i had to do a lot of rom hacking to actually make it usable (slow downs and low on additional memory to install applications on the phone itself) i think all touchscreen mobile manufacturers put on a lot of gubbins that arent needed and slow down the phones, so dont be surprised if they come to you and say "my phone is slow" like others have said, i think some of the orange branded phones are looking good, but i cant vouch for them personally :(

Another vote for the Orange San Fransisco, think it's a glass screen, but screen protectors (£5 for 5) for the Samsung i900 fit perfectly

Are there any touchscreen's out there without a glass screen? :D

All the one's i've seen have glass screens.
    :)

Apparently you get £20 off when you spend £40 in store.
Can someone suggest the best value, please!

May I ask why the differentiation between boy and girl? Which features would you say would suit either?

Personally, I wouldn't want to have the same phone as my sister. And I just think the way the operating system looks and feels on the HTC suits a boy better (& viceversa), I don't know why but I just think it does. But thats just my opinion.
