Does not the transmitter just lift off the locating bracket or pins on the wall, so you can access the rear panel? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Oh does not do this stuff, end of.
The on/off switch is there,it is at the on position.
What about the status LED's then?
The right hand POWER red LED needs to be illuminated, showing that the mains supply to the unit is present.
The left hand RXD yellow LED should illuminate when it receives a control signal and then the middle ON green LED should illuminate when heat is required from the boiler, which obviously also has to be switched on.
Have you replaced the batteries? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

I have changed the batteries.
The right hand led that says power is showing red illuminated.
The on light to its left is green illuminated
The next light says rxd and sometimes illuminates briefly, cant remember when.I have the aerial fully extended.
I currently have the gloworm boiler on manual heating set to 62 degrees. If you don't leap, you'll never know what it is to fly :heartpuls0 -
I would try the reset button (5), and then check the dip switches on the back do correspond as previously advised.
Then do a full factory reset as explained in the manual. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Is sounds like the two units are communicating then.
You should be able to make the centre ON green LED go on and off by changing the required temperature on the control unit (up & down arrows at the right) - that will prove that the wireless link is working correctly.
How do you make the heating switch on manually?
What make/model is the boiler? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

What make/model is the boiler?
The boiler is a glow worm flexicom35cx
am standing by the boiler pressing the up and down arrows the green led does seem to go on and off as i go up and down.
I get the heating to go on manually by pressing the mode button, either a radiator symbol comes up,or a tap symbol, then i can move the heating temp up and down.If you don't leap, you'll never know what it is to fly :heartpuls0 -

Press the boiler mode button for two seconds to get to central heating mode indicated by a flashing radiator symbol, use the - & + buttons to set the required temperature between 38 - 82 degrees C. Then after five seconds of inactivity the display should revert to indicate the water pressure e.g. 0.7 Bar with the radiator symbol still shown e.g. activated with no demand
If the green LED is now switched to the illuminated state by operating the controller, the boiler should fire up as heat is demanded. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
thanks,I will try that tommorrow.
Thanks so much.If you don't leap, you'll never know what it is to fly :heartpuls0
