I'm on a 12 months phone and BB value package, Just received a letter back from them to say
they are separate packages and only the home phone package is changing
that I could leave free of charge from that , but would have to keep the value BB part of it
as its t&c's are not changing and are a separate issue or so they say
Its all impossible when how can i terminate the home phone due to the detrimental changes and extra charges as they say i can at no cost , when a BB package is on the end of it ?
I'm using the county court because i believe their breaching my contract now 7 months into it
If they do apply these jan charges i cant see how i can close one without closing both
yet plusnet say they are separate, if you look on their phone and BB website the phone and value BB package look like all one thing to me ? so wish me look in court:rotfl:

take a plusnet bundle deal from their website
Its like this double dealing contracts
Plusnet(BT) BBand is strapped to plusnet(BT)home phone
You pay a BBand fee connection fee(£25) to plusnet to strap(connect) it onto the end of your phone and another (£25) fee to have it removed from the phone again when/if its removed
you then need to pay them for a router (£20 or £40 depending on the router model) otherwise you'll need your own
Because you need a router to have Broad Band via a phone
plusnet(BT)will tell you all this will be free if you add to it a plusnet(BT enabled phone) homephone and stay a year
Now they have you fixed into a contract for a year on a BT enable phone and a plusnet(BT) BBand package
All it needs now is for BT to increase their phone prices , plusnet pass it on to you the customer but keep their BBand package the same price as before
Your now forced into either accepting a material breach on your plusnet(BT) homephone contract or cancelling it due to its breach
but by doing so plusnet have ensured (as they havent increased the BBand price)that you default on their broadband package saying its a seperate contract and make you pay their deferred setup charges
they breach on the phone contract tell you that you can leave
free of charge but bring in the deferred bband exit charges so if you have home and bband together with the company
    they breach, you pay

dont use this company its just another shop window for BT

Try IDNet, not the cheapest but they really are very fair and upfront, I have been with them for over 4 years now, after leaving Plusnet.

    I have no regrets whatsoever.

30 day contract, so if you are not happy, you can just move on.

i wouldnt recommend any uk isp , as their all alike, greedy and those on contract are usually those who pay
in the usa bandwidth is capped in terrabytes
in the uk its in gigabytes

now they have the cheek to charge expensve prices to avoid their dodgy annual contracts, for monthly replacements
i'm cancelling my bt phone and bband and will use my local library, until this industry is better regulated
    not to be bitten twice
