I have done Swedish massage part time for 10 years. This happens all the time as the muscles when warmed up move all the digestive tracts IYSWIM. The other problem is natural men movements. My teacher said to throw a pile of folded towels on it!!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I really want a massage. I'd cope with the embarrassment of wind to get rid of the knots I have, especially the ones in my legs.
  • yea its common dont worry your therapist be used to it lol

and men(and some women) getting excited.... its sad that most people only get touched during sex so equate touch in a sexual manner subconsciously and body reacts ..
finances disaster but baby-stepping back to security:

    2024 let's do this !!

Since reading this thread and giggling I've been looking up availability and cost of massage locally. what is the difference between sports massage, deep tissue massage and swedish massage? I'm guessing I want deep tissue massage...

They do and I know they have to learn.....but there's nothing more irritating and non-relaxing than a less-than-adept massage!

***Smiles smugly as have a new masseuse at my local salon who is really good and even better, the charges are very reasonable***

I've had college treatments, normal beauty shop treatments & swanky places treatments.

I can honestly say I prefer the college. The others are a treat, the college is cheap enough to go weekly;)

Agree about the swanky place treatments. The massages I've had in over-priced hotel spas ( in the UK) have been amongst the worst I've had, to an extent that I'll book a pedicure over a massage if I want a hotel spa treat now.

How much do you pay for a college massage?

    £12 full body.

£6 for back, neck & head.

    £8 for reflexogy.
