Best Value Package: TV, Internet, Phone

I am presetly with NTL for TV, Internet and Phone which is convenient having one supplier but no cost effective.
There are many offers about, each offering one good element, however what is the best combination for total cost of service provision.
Phone: It would be good to have a usb subscribed phone that I could use with my laptop or at home (especially if business calls are directed to that number so I can take them anywhere I am, would also need a voice mail service. Was thinking Skype or Tesco. )
TV: need basic family channels (cartoon, discovery kids) discovery channels only
Internet: Only need 2gb although more is always better but need wireless and ethernet connections
My mobile is up for renewal renewal so could move to Orange to get free broad band, but I have been told reception is not good on their mobile network and it would mean the additional cost of a BT line? Have thought of Sky total package and also Talk Talk. They all have individual benefits but it is looking at their total cost and value for money for service connection and content e.g. cost of calls, and download limits.
I would be interested in your thoughts.
Lastly as time is always the limiting factor, the hassle of changing, chasing and getting everything set up again, is a pain, so I would be prepared to pay a little more but not have to change all the time or chase the best deal every three months (yearly maybe).
Now there is an idea a company that sits over the top of the providers and always finds its customers the best deal and organises an automatic switch of service at the right time for the right deal.

if you do not have a BT line already, then your list of providers is already restricted to basically a cable or a satelitte broadband provider, unless you live in a WiMax area
as your with NTL, you could effectively ditch the phone, and switch to a broadband based VoIP phone line, since I think you do not need to have a phone with NTL.... although, you wouldn't be able to do 999 calls, or a few other landline only services... but would save you some extra money anyhow!0
