This thread is giving me lots of enthusiasm so hopefully that will turn into cash soon. I have lots to ebay, but I think I'll wait a little while as everyone is skint at the moment! (hopefully I'll get more for my old clothes etc after the christmas aftermath)
I have looked for mystery shopping, but nothing at the moment without a long journey, so not worth it.
Might give costabingo a go later too.
Now I'm racking my brains trying to think of other things I can do :think:Rubbish at moneysaving!!... but going to give it a good try

Alo6 hope you are ok now. Take it easy.
Emminently here is a blog post from an old favourite about how and why we share our ideas sometimes

Thanks for that. Step 3 is the *exact* reason I've chosen not to share any plans with someone I work with. I was on TV recently and chose not to tell her about that either. I have to listen to her opinions on everything from my work to the economy and I just really didn't need to know what she thought about my home too.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

All quiet with me - sorry to say - no saves but no spends either. Even so I thought I'd catch up.
I've just heard I can take the next three weeks off so will start on the big clean out and ebay extraviganza!!
Seen a couple of posts about Turbo listing and free ebay listing days. I think if you use any kind of lister you will be charged - it's only free when listing direct.
I had some previous advice about just doing a basic listing to get your items up and running (if you're pushed for time) using the free weekend and then you can edit and add pictures anytime and at your leisure. Hope that makes sense.0 -
Afternoon everyone
Well I got my cheques from Music Magpie, totalling £85.25, also got £65 from ebay this morning into my account, and £14.20 from Amazon. My savings account is looking healthier already and I am feeling really pleased.
Off to do some more listings on Ebay - hope you all have a great day.Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Just ordered a new printer exactly the same as the one i have now as it was cheaper to buy the printer than the ink  so thats £5 in the pot plus what ever the new printer sells for on ebay will go in the pot!
Anyone who was interested in the 'cash for cartridges' link i put up the other day please note that you have to get upto £25 before they send a cheque out at the end of the month. If you have loads, then great but if like me you only have a few cartridges, its not really worth it.0 -

anyone know where i can recycle/get money/points ect for cartridges from the works printer? they are normally binned, so ive hung onto a few just in case!
they are from a hp 2840!
sold 2 items on ebay 2day - £2.04 plus postage :rotfl:0 -
Hi all. Skint-student-nurse's talk about printers reminded me of a really good money saving tip. Buy your printer inks in bulk from eBay for massive savings. Obviously they're not official cartridges but most people won't be able to tell the difference and they don't do any harm to printers. Why pay £20+ for a single cartridge when you can get 12 for £12 or so. I have experience of using this eBay shop and have nothing but good things to say about them.0
