Hehe discovered that I still have £5 bonus in costa bingo so I'm playing that just now!

Not made any real cash today. Really should get my finger out.

Need to wait till Wednesday till all my DD's are out then I can chuck a chunk in my savings (probably £200 plus £10 from my imaginary stopping smoking fund!!)

Hopefully the cute piggy bank (bargain at £2.50) will arrive soon and I can chuck my random change (occasional note) in there.

On a bad note - we have SNOW!!

Elly - the list is huge so far. I've given up for tonight but will do some more tomorrow!

Hi all, can't believe how quickly this thread has moved today. I am making small inroads into the target and looking for more daily free bingo offers etc to do. I currently just do takeabreak for the free scratchcard (you get bonusbucks you can play with) and jackpot joy which got me £15 from quidco and has daily free offers. I also do pureprofile and other surveys. I'm sure there used to be lots more daily offers, has anyone got any info please? :A Take a Break was brill for me last year and they paid out £1300 ish from a £10 stake :T

How do these free bingo things work? Do you need to make deposit first or just register your details? And which ones are the best to use?

Word of warning re Quidco. Just logged on to check my cash back. I had been waiting patiently for a payment since June for car insurance. £32. It had validated and I thought all was okay, I am used to payments taking a while sometimes, and the site advises a 4 month delay. I go to submit a query and it says no queries can be made after 3 months  Frustrating to say the least because even if I had waited the recommended 4 months I would still have been out of time to make a query! *Edit Quidco have said they will hurry payment for me as it has been validated so thumbs up to them after all *

Re free Bingo the sites all vary. There used to be some good links on the GIOL thread last year but I haven't found the relevant one yet. Though the Jackpot Joy one is interesting and looks okay for daily free use. For this you deposit and wager £10 (BJ or roulette is lowest risk *I think*) and if you go through Quidco you should get £15 back. Mine tracked overnight anyhow.

  • Hi Everyone, I am a long time lurker, but reading some of this thread has inspired me to give it a go. I have been doing some selling on ebay recently, just small stuff from around the house, but I managed to make quite a few pounds in December, which has spurred me on to try a bit harder this year. I would also like to try Match Betting but I have no idea how to get started. Anyone got any idea please?

crafty if you are buying stock to sell on then that counts as self employed you need to keep all reciepts there is a link matched betting and bingo are just gambling and the govt takes their cut at source so any winnings are yours.

at this stage last year a lot of us were the same as you feel now and just dipping our toes in to find our individual niche .
    good luck all
ps nikki i'll have fun trying to put up lists lol,:rotfl:but i've managed to edit my signature .so lets see

Thanks for the reply.:) I don't fancy the buying just to sell on, I'd probably choose the wrong thing, and need a minimal outlay.:o I do want to make things on a small scale and hopefully sell some. I did see on another thread that if it's a small scale hobby you don't have to pay tax, but that doesn't sound very technical! I wouldn't be able to make much as I wouldn't be quick at it. I spend too much time fiddling with details on any arty/crafty things. Plus I will be making all birthday and christmas pressies this year.
