    Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £600
  • Phew!! You are all so chatty!! I love it!

Welcome to all the newbies! This is my first year doing this challenge and i feel really motivated right now! It seems that the energy on this thread is catching! :D

jess444, i am new to turbolister, but i must admit it's soooo much better than listing online. I like to poodle along adding listings when i have the spare time, but i still want to time them to finish on a weekend to get the most interest. Using turbolister means i can do just that! I add to it throughout the week and then just click to list whenever i want them to start. Brilliant!

tinkerbell, i think your idea to work towards £1100 is a great one if that's more achievable to you. To be honest there's no way i will be able to get to £11,000, but i am enjoying the dream right now.

    lea123e, SELL! I would. :)

dtaylor21184, congratulations on your new baby! I have a baby boy too. We'll have to watch out for each other's baby brain!! :D

nikki2804, i think an FAQ section at the front is a good idea. I don't mind helping with that in any way i can, but i'm not really an expert on much. lol!

mazvalencia, i love that tea exchange idea! I might just have to see who we could do that with...

mirry, CONGRATULATIONS!! You lucky !!!!!! you! :D

    Day Three

Today i added £10 to my total cause i bought a birthday prezzie half price in the sale. The birthday in question isn't until the end of March mind.

No other monies added but i have put a few books on my turbo lister ready to upload on Thursday for a 10 day listing. Hopefully i will be able to add more maternity and baby stuff this week. The listings i added yesterday have plenty of watchers and one item has a couple of bids, so i'm pleased with that.

I'm still undecided what to do about our savings from last year. I know we are all making up our own rules, but i can't help but feel like it's cheating if i do that! :rotfl: I'm a div, i know! I'll leave it off for now, but might add it on at a later date. :)

Between doing this challenge and keeping my blog i am feeling super engaged with this! :D

    well done mirry! :)
  • Would I be right in thinking anything that means spending money to sell and make money counts as taxable income. But things like selling your old stuff in ebay doesn't count, and I assume bingo and match betting does't count.

Im not sure where everything else sits tho, ie affiliate marketing, surveys, content creation, reviews etc. Can anyone enlighten me please?

crafty if you are buying stock to sell on then that counts as self employed you need to keep all reciepts there is a link matched betting and bingo are just gambling and the govt takes their cut at source so any winnings are yours.

at this stage last year a lot of us were the same as you feel now and just dipping our toes in to find our individual niche .
    good luck all
ps nikki i'll have fun trying to put up lists lol,:rotfl:but i've managed to edit my signature .so lets see
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x
