morning, everyone. For any of you who are looking to up your moneysaving and change broadband provider Plusnet are doing the offer again that I joined them with - Get half price broadband for 12 months which makes it £3.24 monthly for a year. I joined them back in June I think and the network connection is fantastic much better than the one I had with Sky. The other plus is the call centre is based in Yorkshire :j I think it ends somewhere around the 6th October, I cannot check as their site recognises that I already have a plusnet account0

Yay to eBay
I've got about 20 items finishing on Sunday, all starting at 99p and so far 4 of them will sell.
I think my dribbling might be a bit pathetic this month as I seem to have no end of things to go to (parties, weddings etc.) But I suppose anything that I can do will be better than nothing and I really want to pay of a extra £100 on my loan this month so that it will be under £5k in Oct.
I can't believe people are already thinking about £12k in 2012. I'm not even half way to me £11k yet! lol0 -
Not followed this thread what so ever since i was in it at the start, everyone is taking different routes compared to me.....i have hit the £11k though and have another £2-3k lined up, so £13 - 14k by November, hopefully hit at least £15k just with the idea at the start of this thread, on top of usual income. Gone fantastic, away on holiday next week, reaping the rewards.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Hello, Hello
It has ages since I have been here, but my total hasn't budged that much although I will restart in money making in October. Most of the stuff that I have been doing has been practical business building stuff rather than money making - but I have a lot of good things in the pipeline. But, although we aren't near the end of the year yet I am ready for £12,000 in 2012. I am seeing some fantastic totals well done everyone!

Do we have a FB page again?? I tend to be lurking on there more....
Dilli - like you i'm just putting in the foundations for next year..
I agree with Elly it is the support that is important but i want to test myself, 12k in 2012 I think will be my aim. I have a minor aim of making enough to take my kids to disney paris in October 2012 and a major aim of having no mortgage by December 2020 and making 12k gross extra next year on top of my wage would go a huge huge way towards that..
Rictus - what direction did you take?? Thats some big numbers you are popping out there. I am on a 2 soon to be 3 pronged stratagy. My jewellery, matched betting and then finally and hopefully we are hoping to get certification for gifft baskets using the sweets I make.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
lilac and trying hard you see you scare me because the thought of being debt free and mortgage free would be great but i have never thought about putting a date on either ,my other problem is that i have been constantly looking for an extre 12 hr shift that i could slot in somewhere just dont know as that would give me an extra £100 a week then i think well why not 2 £200 and if i put that straight to the total debt cc and mortgage then well £800 x12 is £9600 a year without doing anything else and of course with the snowball calculator i can then add the payment to the next debt and so on this would mean that the cc would be gone in 2 the loan would be next in 2 and then the mortgage in 6 so in theory in 2022 i would have no debt think i need to take a serious look at my plans for our finances .
we are also doing the following for the rest of the year
1,try and feed 4 for £50 a week we might manage this as hubby is away a lot so really 3 lol
2,try and persuade hubby to reduce virgin package however we dont go out much any way
3/not use gas,electric(except my laptop lol)if possible
4/I am going to ebay everything not tied down will make that a 2hrs Friday job
5/cut back on christmas /birthday spends where possible.
what do you all think do you dare to plan long term ????????????????????So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0 -
elly, it's scary to put a date on it, but by then my dd will be driving by then and nearly 18:eek::eek: and we live in the sticks so she will have to be added to my insurance and also my car will be 15 years old so I have to trade it in that year or the year after. We can't do things like that unless this debt is gone. We have been on a DMP for 8 years now - half of DD life!! and I can't bear having it still at the back of my mind anymore. So June 2013 is the month that we pay off just over £20,000. An enormous amount of money especially as I work part-time, with no hope of any over-time, but it's near to home and for that I am grateful. I will add up everything and then put the figure as my signature to remind me. I am sorting out tons of paperwork today, and sorting through house stuff to ebay....busy busy xx8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140
