I forgot to add, it's payday tomorrow
I'm hoping to be able to pay of a extra £130 on my loan thanks to my eBay clear out!
This weekend I'm going to be winter proofing my appartment by re-sealing the windows (It a new build so the sealant keeps popping) and making some lined blinds with some fabric I've got hanging around to keep the heat in. I'm also going to start making some arts and crafts bits for Christmas presents. I'm going to make my mother a new throw and a couple of knitted rats (if I can find patterns) and I'm going to make a family history book for one of my best friends. I'll think of something fun to knit for my other best friend... Maybe a green and yellow bag as I know she loves bags.. If I decorated it with buttons it'd be right up her street
Oh and a friend of mine just sent me the patterns for a whole set of cute croche Star Wars characters. I'm sure I can make those for someone0 -
Adding 5p I have found and £1.67 for something that I have sold.0

Morning Dribblers!
Well Mint haven't been very forthcoming in providing the info needed to claim back my credit card charges, so have sent them a little prompt yesterday! Is anyone else pursuing this currently? And has it been a long drawn out process?! Not that I shall give up mind!0 -
hi all well my kitchen is taking its time but savings are still going so thought i would list incase anyone else has diy they need to tackle.
Boiler £700 plus £450 fitting quoted £3500 from BGas saving £2300
New kitchen quote from b&q units were cheapest £1400 bought 2nd hand real wood units ,doors and fittings for £450 which was made up from quidco cash £140 ,ebay sales £66 and i had the neck to ask my sister for £100 back which i never do and boot sale £63 so we had to up front £87 for the kitchen. saving £1313
we have probably spent roughly £400 in screwfix including flooring however for once i have been fanatical about returns .
I plan to sell the oven that came with the kitchen and our fridge as new one has an integrated fridge freezer and then start on the clearance of the shed and all other items not pinned down in the house so we can have christmas and a shiny new (well Used) kitchen
Happy money making all

£26 to add from MS with another payment to follow soon.
On Costa I made a deposit and then you get access to the first time depositors room where the jackpots are larger. I didn't decline the welcome bonuses etc but I didn't really get to use them as when you win and withdraw you lose the bonus. It is a bit nerve wracking on your first go but give it a go if you fancy it - good luck!MFW 2012 #70- 1996.98/100000 -

Hi Lucy,
Have a look at the Business Link site as it's full of usefull information on setting up as self emplayed.
Basically what you have to do is call HMRC and ask them to register you as self emplayed and set up NI contriburtion. If you don't think you'll make £5k in the first year also asl for a NI exemption form. It is very, very easy to sort out.
I've paid a extra £141.81 off my loan today :jwhich should knock a month off the end of it. My september challenge is to beat that amount by at least £10. Not sure how yet but as the Bingo is still not paying out I guess I'd better get eBaying!0 -
Well part one of my trying to claim back my overpayment, I shall be receiving a cheque for £150, so thats off into the pot.0
