Quick sig update from a gold sale to HGM, £150 in the ol' pot0
-
After going through some old paper work, I realised I have overpaid over 1k to Lloyds, to cut a long story short I lost my mum in 2008 and very shortly after started receiving demands from them for an outstanding loan of hers. There was a small amount of money in mums estate but not enough to cover this amount(which i didnt know at the time as these details had not been finalised) Not quite being "with it" at the time and sick of seeing these letters I just paid them to get them off my back really. So I have written to them to see what can be done about this, legally the money is my own, I have supporting documentation for all of this, so will see what happens :cool:0

I like the idea of listing 100 items for 99p to try to make £100, we're on hol next week, but will set a mini challenge to list 100 items at 99p (or more if there's a free listing!) by end of Sept. Anyone like to join me?
I'd like to try matched betting & bingo too, but agree it seems pretty scary. I have roped OH in for the matched betting & we have read the blurb. Hv also looked at betmunch's website, but when attempting the first step - sign up to betfair & make free £25 bet, we couldnt see that offer? Hv tried contact email via the site, but no response, anyone know if he (/she?) is still around?
Figure bingo is probably an easier option in the meantime... I've never played b4, so don't really get it. I read about not accepting the bonus, as it makes it harder to withdraw your money. Someone said about going through Quidco & working down the list. I looked at gala bingo, which was £20 cashback when u stake £10 (and spend it). Can someone confirm that I do this, making sure I don't accept the bonus (how?), the reason being that if I accept the bonus, the system spends this first & I'll struggle to get the cashback, is that right? Therefore, I make £10 from quidco? Do I also gain any winnings I make, or does it spend that too? In addition to this, once I've put my money is, does that mean I can play some sort of free games? (hence the talk about 'free bingo') and withdraw the winnings?
Now I've written this, it does seem slightly clearer in my head! If my assumptions are right! I guess I may b better asking over on the gambling board, but feel much more comfortable with u friendly bunch (especially if I've got it all wrong!)
Amatheya - perhaps we could do it together? And anyone else who wishes to join us! Let's get the ball rolling & get those totals up!0 -

Woo hoo! Just won £100 on free bingo
I've withdrawn it straight away so I'm going to count it now. I've also got £20 cashback to come from quidco for joining the site, but had to deposit £10 to get it so I'm going to count the cashback as £10 towards my total when I get it from them.
I've also just sold my first book on Amazon for £18.77 so that'll be added in too when the money comes through in a couple of weeks.
Happy Debbie! :T

I got a nice surprise today when I logged into one of the survey sites that I hadn't looked at for ages and found I had a £10 Amazon voucher waiting for me :j I've put it to one side as I'm trying to save up for a shiny new copy of Photoshop which is realy expencive but kinda nessesary if I'm going to keep doing digital art.I like the idea of listing 100 items for 99p to try to make £100, we're on hol next week, but will set a mini challenge to list 100 items at 99p (or more if there's a free listing!) by end of Sept. Good Luck with trying to make £100 from 100 items. I'm up to about £75 from 20 items at the moment. 11 of them aren't finishing until Sunday so fingers crossed for a bidding war to push me over £100 :T. It's getting to the point where I'm looking at anything in my flat that isn't nailed down and wondering what I'd get for it on ebay... My pet rat is looking very worried but I don't think anyone would be daft enough to give me money for him :rotfl:
Working out the free bingo thing together might be fun. Although I'm not sure when I'm going to get around to it yet... Probably not until I've finished my eBay splurge.
Right O'm off to read a few more of the back posts. I'm up to page 75 :eek:0 -

Debbie - which site were you playing please?
It was Gala bingo. Make sure you go through quidco to earn a tenner straight awayGood luck!
And my advice - if you have a big win, withdraw it straight away so you're not tempted to gamble it away. Then just leave whatever was left of your initial deposit and sign in bonus to play with.HIGHEST DEBT £63,300 LBM 27/5/2020 DEBT FREE DATE 31.08.20220 -
