Hey that sucks about the mortgaage being rejected!!!! next time tho!!!:)

Whats a post office savings card?ss

I'm gutted but everything happens for a reason. Another few months justs means a bigger deposit which means a better rate - hopefully.

The post office do a budget card that you can pay cash onto and save up for things like car tax. Comes in handy at times, used to be stamps but they have revamped the system.

Applying for a 2nd part time job. Currently work 18 hours p/w but my local asda are looking for temp evening work. Can't increase my hours at work (nor would I really want too) due to childcare restrictions but evening works well.

    Thank you x

I have been busy making a meal plan for next month, hopefully stick to this and save a few pennies on take aways.

Was looking into getting a dog, want a puppy because I have a 2 year old (although I would love a rescue dog you can never be sure of the temperament and history etc). Wanted a Huskey for years but apparently they have been know to kill cats - eek. Theres always someone in the house so it would get walked lots but I don't think I can offset a £600 dog by cancelling a £20 p/m gym membership :rotfl:.

Also looking at German Shepherds, argh, should stop looking at breeders sites, I'd have a menagerie if I could get away with it!!!

Saved a little with the Daily Express Thomas offer. Got 4 megablocks engines for my little one for under £4 (should have been £24 ). In the Xmas box.

Glad I fixed my gas/electricity back in April. I was in debit (i dont have a gas key and the meter reader couldnt get to box in the bad snow so bill was estimated, electricity was correct though) Gas reading just taken and im now in CREDIT!!! Typically the direct debit has just increased though :rotfl:The price rises are scaring me though, thankfully im fixed until 2013.

    Dear god I can ramble.

well you will be the smiling one if you get the job tomorrow and bag a free months pay make sure she gives you any holiday pay you would be entitled to as well .good luck tomorrow whats your job ?

I hope so! I feel like I've sort of stabbed myself in the foot though, and I'm not sure that I will get it. I was working as a support worker, and the job I'm going for tomorrow is an apprenticeship in business and administration. If all else fails I've got a couple of hours PA work on a friday from one of the members - just taking him shopping, and someone else said they were getting their hours sorted out by social services so as soon as she knows how many hours PA she's allocated, she's going to give me a call.

I was also asked if I wanted to go abroad as someones PA in a couple of weeks time as the one who was going with him dropped out. All expenses paid, and when you PA someone on holiday they pay for meals, etc...And obviously you get wages on top, but unfortunately I'm looking after my Nan that week because my uncles away! Nevermind hey.
