Anyone got any ideas how to rein in the oh? I do a spreadsheet of income and outgoings and next monday we are only going to be bout £20 in the black and thats not taking into account if we need things in the next 9 days, he has had 3 days off work this fortnight, one out of choice and 2 through illness, he whinged last night cos I wasn't planning on having a takeaway, had a kfc today and then wants to go and watch my sister sing in a pub tonight. He seems to think that as he works 6 days a week he should be able to have these things, should have said he has to have proper names snacks chocolate bars and crisps for his bate, has a crate of lager a week, has a can and bottle of shop brand red bull everyday and smokes so he has quite enough luxuries if you ask me. The reason it bothers me so much is that he totalled his car due to the ice in the winter, I am now borrowing my grandmas car so he can use mine so we need to buy a car and have no money for it. Sorry rant over but any ideas??

I'm sure he'd HATE this buy my mum gives my stepdad 'pocket money' out of their monthly income (she really wears the trousers... :rotfl:) and if he wants a takeaway or beer that comes out of HIS allowance. Once it's gone, it's gone.

As for all that branded goods nonsense I don't know quite what to say. It amazes me people can't seem to make small sacrifices for a stable future and (IMO) much nicer things like holidays, a lovely home and eventually a nice nursing home ;)

Hey all. I have somewhat neglected this thread for a while now so I am going to see if I cant get myself back on track. Off to update trackers and will check signature as well.

I am looking forward to bootsale season - got a ton of stuff to check/sort/price ready for that - probably in May.

Have a few bits cherry picked out to try on Ebay so hope to add to my tally soon.

I've been AWOL for a while, just seem to have had no time lately.

Worked a 14 hour shift yesterday, so tired today :( and the little one has German measles, poor mite.

Got perfume on eBay along with a Dermalogica moisturiser that I have had for ages. Both on a 10 day listings so should end next Sunday. Will maybe add some more tonight on a 7 day listing so they all end at the same time.

Made around £15 in tips last night so that went straight into the piggy bank. Hopefully another £40 pay from the hotel.

The soft play area in our area has closed down (as did the one in Falkirk) so now I'm stuck for places the take the LO (when hes better obv) Quite sad that yet more people are jobless!

Anyway i'm off to read up on the last week or so's posts.

Elly, he has to have the car as he works over 30 miles away lol!!! Have just done the shopping online and bought him a flapjack tray for 79p and as I wrap his food he won't know it's teco value!! need something i can do along the lines of toffee crisps as he loves them and that would at least be a start. I now buy his redbull stuff once a month in b and m to get it at cheapest and try to buy the other things he likes only when they come on offer. Now doing main shopping, apaart from the fresh stuff online once a month to buy in bulk and save that way. Any other ideas??

Another thing I seem to remember in marches challenges there was links to testing products n now I cant find them can anyone point me in the rite direction please.
