Hello, I've just come across this thread. My boyfriend proposed last Friday and in the short amount of time I've had to myself since then I have discovered weddings are an expensive business and right now I'm not sure I can afford the registrar.
Any hints and tips I can get to make some extra cash will be gratefully received!!!0 -

Congratulations!!!
If you've got a little money to start with (I started with £100), then matched betting is worth a punt. Make sure you read through and understand all the details before betting though.
Other quickish options include things like the free bingo that people have played here (I've still not got round to it - have Sunday to myself though, may play then).11k in 2011 challenge: £100/£11000 = 0.91% of the way there

Wish me luck!0 -

locally he is in the paper every other week as the local journalist
a) loves him
b) is a member of the same club
so every time he has no news so to speak he is in the paper
we havent done it however from an angle to raise funds
i have tried local golf companies and although 1 at least will give him a discount on clothes i havent any money to buy him clothes!
with regard to equipement he is sponsored by one of the big names in golf and gets whatever he needs from them dont know what we would do without them tbh
since he got in the england squad his coach now sponsors him for lessons
the things i need money for are generally travel and accomodation, entry fees and practice rounds, golf club subscriptions etc
on average it costs with the above expenses £500 per comp on a big budget, me and dad not eating much etc etc!
he is expected to do around 9 comps in the year, perhaps odd ones more
he is so remarkably good i would do without virtually anything so long as he wants to pursue his golf
but having been in bad debt a few years ago dont want to go back there but feel i am struggling to keep my head above water
have had an idea that i wont publish til i have thought it through which will get the oh involved too which i am hoping will make small change so to speak compared to some of you but if it does stop me from sinking then so be it!

Hi Wilf, playing golf for england is a great success, but please be aware carrying a sponsor, will breach amatuer status rules. By this I mean a sponsor that pays youto promote or use their equipment or clothing

Hey guys,
Been looking at the boards for a while but sort of got dragged in by Matched Betting and ended up on this thread. If anyone has any tips, other than those in the main threads, I'd be really greatful.
I understand how it works but don't know how to get the right matches without spending all day looking.... Or is that the point?
Really surprised at how many ways there are to earn a little extra cash and look forward to starting Matched Betting when I get paid.
Not really been a saver before but seen as we're about to complete on our First house, I thought why not, every little helps!!
Might take me a while to catch up on all 133 pages on posts but Thanks, and I look forward to at least trying to get to £11,0000 -
I sold something else on amazon today! Woop woop!
I feel like I could sell my whole bedroom on amazon lol.
