That was happening to me several times on one item last month, i was so annoyed and ended up blocking a lot of people and eventually pulled the item,it so frustrating isn't it?0 -
Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining. I have been reading this thread avidly and made a start to make more money by putting things on gumtree, amazon and ebay. Sold 4 things on amazon already and have a few watcher on the ebay stuff so fingers crossed will sell some of those too.
We are trying to save up to move house later this year so every penny counts.0 -

Hello all
Just thought I'd join in - hope nobody minds
My husband is at risk of redundancy, so we are trying to earn money from home - I already work from home as an Usborne Organiser, although i've let that slide a bit lately - I was making £750 - £1000 a month before Christmas though, so I really need to get back in the saddle there!
I've been ebaying this weekend, no bids yet, but 4 watchers, so that is something I suppose. We are moving house soon (landlord can't keep up with mortgage) so we need that space, and something is better than nothing. I've also signed up to do mystery shopping, have done one assignment and got something nice for ebay, got another this pm. My husband is starting to run pub quizzes (he is a bit of a quiz buff, and very outgoing, so hopefully this will take off) so, between all that, we should hopefully be just about ok. Ish.
Have we missed anything we should be doing?Goal = £9,000 in 2011, starting in March
Current total - £779 banked by 09/04/11
Also growing, scrimping and crafting to not need as much in the first place!0 -
Hello everyone.
Firstly, love, hugs and Cornish kisses all round.:heartsmil Happy Valentines to everyone.
Have started to mystery shop:eek:. Wow. Didn't know quite what to expect, first one got me so flustered nearly forgot what i wanted, lucky for me Mr Cornishfarmer remembered. Second one much better:). When does the guilty feeling go away? or is that just me:o!
Now i have £20.75 to add to my total:T.
Also have a whole 17p in interest added to my account.
It's half term next week so i think i might try some bingo and hunt out some bits and pieces to sell off.
Well done everyone so far, loads of great totals.RememberGOALS need PLANS need ACTIONS0 -
I used to do mystery shopping and always felt a bit guilty whilst I was doing the dirty deed. Maybe just me but I felt like I was in school and being asked to check up on people and report back to teacher.
Could be worse though. Occasionally I did 'official' visits and one time I had to report back on whether advertising that corner shops were being paid to show was actual being used and take photos, etc. All went fine except for one shop in a seriously rough area where they were showing nothing they were meant to and the locals took a real dislike to me. Fortunately I'm 6ft+ and look like I can handle myself (whether I can or not is another matter......)

hi rosie good luck with the ebaying ,my only problem is i get obsessed with watching my items lol
I do that too and seem to check every half hour when at home...it's going to be a long weekskint-student-nurse wrote: »welcome dingdongavon! I am here too because we are saving up to move, welcome and good luck!
Thanks for the welcome. Have had a bid on one of our ebay items already which is good although person is from Portugal and hadn't asked about postage first grr.
I am trying to cut back on the food shopping as would spend on average £100 a week and it is going ok. I am checking what we already have in before shopping, just need to stop buying things on offer that we don't actually need that week.0
