OH has been signed off with depression *sigh* since when did being a lazy sod = depression?? Bone idol more like. He's down about his weight but will he exercise? No! Will he eat healthily? No.

Sorry to those who suffer from real depression, im just venting!
Aw nikki I hear your frustration, but maybe he really is depressed? :/ It can hit you different ways, I had the stuffing knocked out of me like that once years back, and now I'm apparently suffering again due to my injuries, but this time is very different to the last time - although I'm adamant I'm not depressed :rotfl:but the scale says I am and both counsellors worry about me as I have a lot of associated troubles, despite me telling them I'm going to make it to 120 yrs old :D

Well I have a benchmark for my wages now, I got paid a princely sum of £236 this month and our food bill came to £265 so clearly that has to change!! Anyway, this means anything I get paid over that at work will be a bonus and will go into the challenge, although not physically as we have to survive somehow!!! I've had my weekly review with my line manager today, which is turning into my weekly nag to let me have some more hours!!! Unfortunately they are very scared about giving me too much too quick so it's a very very sloooooow frustrating process  I'm sneaking in some extra hours as much as I can but I'm being paid at the lowest rate and not my normal higher rate :(

I've done 3 mystery shops this month..........but only 2 count cos I forgot to put the memory card in the camera

So now I am trying my hand at bingo...............spot the bingo virgin!!! :o:o:o I didn't know you had to buy free tickets so totally missed that game :rotfl::rotfl:DOH!!!

know what you mean, really boring, how can people actually enjoy playing this game !! i played most of mine on autobuy, and with the free ones set my cooker timer to go off when it was time to buy new tickets so i could go and do something else ! made a very tidy profit though, £300 on bingo and £300 on Casino (not including any cashback)

LOL thank god.............thought it was just me, I'm a bit of an adrenaline junky and like to be on the edge of my seat, so after 10 games of not winning a penny it's killing me!! To be fair I am also designing something so back and forth setting off games............but YESSSSSS it's like watching paint dry!! Those old dears that play it for real must seriously not have anything else in their lives???:o

KingL!!! You must've been at it for AGES to win like that, good work, I seriously don't know how you stuck to it, I'd much rather be throwing myself down a mountain :D

    Hi Folks,

Coming to this late but would definitely like to have a stab at the £11k challenge. Lots of good ideas in this thread and inspiration to be found in what's being achieved.

Currently out of work (but fingers crossed following an interview yesterday) and have been selling on Etsy and Amazon to try and bring in a few pounds. Also got a tax rebate last week that I've included in my total.

Will look into all the options that this thread has opened my eyes to!
