  • Not updated my totals yet for january will do that in a bit but I have a quick question re Ebay

I am currently selling most of my personal record and cd collection (as singles) while I am out of work to raise some cash and I was considering opening a shop (£14.99 cheapest option) as I see fees are 10p as opposed to 20p each (will have a few hundred on (400/600 roughly) normally buy it now with 30 day listings at moment but I wanted to know if people will find my listings the normal way ie browsing and searching or do they have to come directly to my shop to find them (notice you can do 90 day and good till cancelled as well in the shop)

People will still find them, the thing to consider is most searches are done by price ( on which you can't start a 30 day auction for a low start price) or time remaining ( in which a lot of the 30 days you go unnoticed )

Good points of shop is the cost if you list lots of items and you can direct people to categories easier to increase sales . I have around 40 items which makes my shop worth while.

    Hope this helps
  • Can I join again?

I was here for a little bit last year, trying to save money for a place for me and my then boyfriend.

Needless to say I'm now single, living back at home, unemployed and having money problems.

I would just like to start doing something about it, I'm already over my overdraft and getting charged £50 for the pleasure. I just want to do something about it before it gets worse and hopefully save some money and get a place of my own :-)

I've lots of stuff to ebay, just need to work out how to sell on there first lol and try some bingo and surveys.:D

  • £300 casino money and ebay money hit my bank this morning, along with Feb Child Benefit, some Bingo wins and £100 on premium bonds i have a nice total and may just relax for the rest of February :D Its all sitting in a separate bank account too so its nice i can see it growing.

Last night listed a pile of CDs on Amazon, very easy as just entered bar code doesn't seem to be a stop date like ebay so that will save a bit of work relisting.

Spent about an hour on slice the pie so a wee tiny dribble there , but its quite enjoyable/ and of course the obligatory surveys, getting quite bored with them now to be honest - just go into autopilot.

No work today, so off to do a secret shop, lunch !

    Keep it going everyone.......

  • Morning everyone - I am a bit worried about my TCB amount for 888ladies. It showed as £30 something when I joined it, then only showed as £10 in TCB, so I sent an email querying & explained that it was the first time I had used TCB & wasn't very impressed. They replied saying something like wait a week but now when I have looked it says in TCB amount payable £0! Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

most of us have had issues with TCB tracking for 888laides,ive had to submit a missing ticket for my cashback, but im yet to hear anything back.

Ive had a nice £10 win this morning so i will bank that later today :D I had a play sale last night too which was a surprise :rotfl:ive got a phone listing on ebay finishing at midnight  i obviously didnt think that one through! i do have a lot of watchers though but no bids as yet...still no cashback recived from quidco, getting really annoyed with that now.

Ive got a bit more to get on ebay,so off i go!
